About Warren Reidy Planning & Design

Warren Reidy Planning & Design Limited is a company that has a wide range of experience in a variety of development, from designing residential developments on an individual scale to planning multiple residential areas incorporating public facilities and amenities, from agricultural facilities to large commercial premises, from a footbridge to a river walk incorporating hard surface walkways and boardwalks with shelters, external furniture and fishing stands.

Warren Reidy has been in private practice since 1999 and is very well respected, with a proven track record of producing high quality designs and standard of service in the greater Munster area. In 2006 Warren Reidy formed Warren Reidy Planning & Design Ltd.

Warren Reidy

CEO

Warren Reidy comes from a construction family. He graduated from Bolton Street D.I.T. with a Civil Engineering Diploma. He left the family construction business in 1999 and set up his own Consultancy business in Planning and Design.  Warren has over twenty years in private practice with hundreds of design projects across the Munster region in his portfolio.

His primary role is Design Team Leader, Construction Engineering Designer, Project Supervisor Design Process. Warren has vast experience, knowledge and understanding in Conceptual Design, preparing Planning Applications, Building Control Compliance Design/reports and applications, Tender Processes, Construction drawing and specifications, legal/regulatory compliance and on-site inspections and certification, across all ranges of projects, from one-off residential, housing developments, institutional, commercial and amenity projects.

Warren has extensive experience carrying out structural reports, fire certificate and disability access reports/applications and mapping for land transfers. He continues to build on his education and experience.

He is a member of Engineers Ireland and a Chartered Construction Manager with the Chartered Institute of Building. Warren looks forward to leading team, associates and colleagues on many more projects on the coming years.

Billy Higgins

Architectural Technician

Billy has 17 years of hands on experience ranging from design inception, preparation of planning, tender & construction documents, construction administration, project  supervisor through to building completion.

He graduated top of his class with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Technology at Waterford Institute of Technology in 2004. Since then, he has worked in Architecture for a number of prominent Architects in his home town of Waterford and then spent 7 years in Vancouver Canada working for Chris Dikeakos Architects, one of the most high profile Architectural Firms in North America working on large mixed use and residential project throughout Western Canada and the USA.

Billy returned to Kerry Ireland in 2018 and began working for another long established local Architectural firm for two more years before joining Warren Reidy Planning and Design Ltd.

Bríd Reidy

Office Manager

Bríd graduated from Limerick Institute of Technology in 2004 with a degree in Property Valuation and Management.  Having worked for a number of years in that field, she joined Warren Reidy Planning & Design Ltd in 2008 as Office Manager.  Bríd looks after all the day to day aspects of running the office.

Isn’t it just larger businesses that need an accountant?
Of course not, even the smallest business can benefit from advice on ways to minimise tax and manage their accounts. If you prefer, we can handle all of your bookkeeping, regular management accounts and VAT returns on your behalf. The added benefit of us being involved is that having prepared the books it makes the final accounts much easier, saving time and keeping costs down.

 

Working with an accountant is an added cost to any business. However, the cost should be offset by the value they add. We work closely with our clients to achieve their goals. By getting to know you and your business well, we can tailor what we do specifically for your needs and your strategy, thereby adding value.

 

We aim to provide you with a fixed fee quote that will cover the areas we will work on together. This will be based on the complexity and volume of the tasks involved. Should any additional assignments come up during the year then we will provide a quote in advance, unless the matter is urgent and it is in your best interests to take action on your behalf. We offer you the chance to pay our fees monthly and avoid having a large invoice in one go, which helps your cashflow. One thing is for sure, if you telephone with a query you won’t get a bill. We want you to let us know how you are.

If you want to keep your own accounting records, then that is fine. If you need some help then we can give you some training. Ensuring that you understand the best way to prepare your accounting information makes it easier for us to complete your accounts or tax return. If we do this for you then you can concentrate on running your business.

 

Sometimes it helps to have a fresh pair of eyes look at your business. We will listen to you and firstly understand the history of the business and then how you want to develop it. We can carry out a “healthcheck” of the operating systems, management and financial reporting in place; advise on any matters arising and recommend any actions required. All designed to match up with your goals, which we established at the outset.
